Chahuaytire is an ancient community that is dedicated to textiles and seeks to spread its art to the entire country and the entire world that is made by the hands of the local people. They are made of alpaca and sheep threads, with natural dyes extracted from plants.

This trip begins with a pick up from your hotel at 7am for a full day exploration. We start with a visit to the alpaca farm which is located 40 minutes from Cusco; in this place you can see alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, among others for 30 to 50 minutes.
After finishing the visit to the place, we continue our journey for 40 more minutes to the Taray viewpoint which offers impressive views of the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River, corn agriculture and the Andes mountain range. You will have time to take pictures and the guide will explain the history and culture of the Sacred Valley of the Incas for 40 minutes.
Having enough time at the Taray viewpoint, we head for 1 more hour until we reach the ruins of Pisac. We will be here for 1:30 hours. This Inca site is known for its impressive agricultural terraces and ancient buildings. The guide will explain each strategic point.
Finally, we head to the community of Chahuaytire for 30 more minutes, this town is known for its textiles and agriculture, taking into account that they still maintain their ancient customs, you can also appreciate cave paintings and houses made of mud and straw. Arriving there we will have our lunch with local ingredients as a snack. After enjoying all this we go to Ollantaytambo for 2 hours, where you can appreciate its narrow streets and Inca canals and the Inca site, in this town we will have dinner and then board the 7:30 pm train to Aguas Calientes to your hotel.

Today we will get up very early to prepare for the most incredible day in Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. After breakfast we will go to wait for the first buses to Machu Picchu.
The guide will take you on a complete 2-hour guided tour of the city, exploring temples, palaces, terraces, history and culture of the Inca citadel. You will also have time to take pictures, if you have a ticket for Wayna Picchu you can go up (must be booked in advance). After the tour we return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and then board the panoramic trains to Ollantaytambo and the bus back to Cusco, we will arrive at 7:30 pm.
