Today's tour begins with an early morning pick up at 7 am from your hotel, it will be a full day tour in which you will have the opportunity to visit the most important sites of the super sacred valley including (textile and Inca site of Chinchero, Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo). We start with a visit to the town of Chinchero where we stop for 2 hours to learn about the culture and history of the place, after that we go to Moray, a place of Inca agricultural terraces; our guide will be in charge of explaining the history of the site, then we go to the Maras salt mines site. This place is known where the ancient tradition of salt harvesting is still practiced and continue the tour to Ollantaytambo.
Ollantaytambo is located one hour from Maras and is commonly known as the last Inca town of water channels, qolqas, agricultural terraces and temples. There our tour of the sacred valley ends. Place where you will have dinner at a local restaurant; Then we will rest in a 3-star hotel and continue our journey the next day to the short Inca trail.

The second day begins with a pick up from your hotel at 5:30 am then we head to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will depart at 6:10 am to the site of km 104 where we will begin our hike. Along the way you will see spectacular views of farmlands, corn, snow-capped mountains and the sacred Urubamba River.
Once at km 104 we will provide you with snacks and take a group photo before visiting the first Inca site. Afterwards you will walk for 3 hours until you reach the second most beautiful Inca archaeological site on the way (wiñayhuayña) at 2600m /8500 feet; at this Inca site you have the opportunity to see an elaborate water fountain, temples, some agricultural products and terraces which offers us the perfect opportunity to learn about the history of the Incas. Afterwards you will be provided with snacks and an organic lunch.
We will continue our walk for 1 hour to the Sun Gate or Intipunku, to glimpse for the first time the lost city of the Incas, an impressive sight that you will enjoy for the first time just like the classic Inca trail walkers.
From the Sun Gate it is another 1 hour uphill walk to Machu Picchu, on the way we will have impressive views. This route gives us the unique opportunity to visit the almost empty city perfect for taking photos. Then take the bus to Aguas Calientes, have dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night in a 3-star hotel.
Dinner is served in the best restaurants in town, the hotel is also located in the best exclusive spot with private bathrooms and hot showers and beautiful views.

We wake up early in the morning to visit Machu Picchu again. You will have a 2-hour guided tour with your private guide and you will also take photos. Those who have tickets to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain will have time to climb which lasts 1 to 2 hours; tickets must be booked as far in advance as possible.
Our COCA EXPEDITIONS TRAVEL guide will take you back to Aguas Calientes town for lunch (not included). You will have the option to choose the restaurant of your preference, and later you will board the panoramic train and the bus back to Cusco. This whole trip from Aguas Calientes to Cusco will take us 4 to 5 hours to your hotel.

The trip begins with a pick up from your hotel at 4:30 am in Cusco. We drive an average of 3 hours to the start of the trail. At this point you will enjoy a delicious picnic breakfast among the mountains in front of you, then begin a 2 hour hike to the top of Rainbow Mountain. You will also have time to visit Red Valley, enjoying both landscapes. We return to the place where we will have a picnic lunch prepared by the chef. After tasting the delicious lunch we will return to your hotel in Cusco, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
